His mission is informed by his belief that entrepreneurs will play a leading role in the emergence of Africa as a strong economic powerhouse and also the need to create platforms for young people to access possibilities that the harsh economic realities will deny them. He has organized the “Nigerian Campus Enterprise Challenge”- where undergraduates form teams to engage in various business tasks and the best team wins the right to manage a Nescafe Coffee Lounge for one year and own all the profit with the goal of providing out of classroom experience in entrepreneurship and leadership to undergraduates and this has gone on through four editions with over a thousand students participating across several campuses. He also organizes the annual “Wake up & Smell the Coffee” Summit, a knowledge and thought leadership series focused on emerging and evolving sectors of the economy for undergraduates, as well as hackathons where participants convert problems in their environments into viable business solutions. Emeka is currently working launching The Opportunity Café which will be the centre of gravity for the most innovative minds on campus to co create bold ideas, receive trainings and mentorships whilst also acting as a channel for organizations to find outstanding talent. He is also piloting a radio programme called “Enterprise Café” which will connect aspiring and emerging entrepreneurs to opportunities and knowledge required to grow their businesses.
