Naga is a versatile and passionate leader with around 20+ years of global experience spanning USA and India. As a full-time angel investor, Naga has invested in 8 startups through Indian Angel Network (IAN) and leads IAN’s Impact Ventures initiative. Naga advises Acumen Fund – a New York based impact venture fund and also serves as an independent director in one of its portfolio companies, Guardian, a micro-finance venture working in Water and Sanitation. He is involved with mentoring and advising Acumen’s investments including Husk Power Systems in Bihar, Pine Needle Power plant in Uttrakhand and Aravind Eye Hospital in Tamilnadu. Naga is also a Venture Advisor at United Seed Fund that invests in early stage ventures serving BoP and is part of Ennovent’s Impact Circle. Earlier in his career, Naga was the President of CDC Software (world’s 12th largest enterprise software company) South and Southeast Asia (SSEA) responsible for 10 countries’ operations managing sales and the India Engineering COE in Bangalore, the largest R&D and support centre for CDC Software’s enterprise software product lines. During his tenure CDC Software was shortlisted for the prestigious NExT Practices Award for “Promoting Innovation & Entrepreneurship 2011” by NASSCOM. Currently residing in Bangalore, Naga holds a B.E. degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India and an MBA degree from the San Diego/Kennesaw State University, The United States.

Anil worked in the IT industry for over 25 years before he decided to follow his passion and move to the social sector. He now mentors Startups at Villgro. He also works with the leadership team at Samhita Social Ventures ( supported by N.S.Raghavan) as an Executive Director –Strategic Initiatives to chalk out growth strategies and partnerships with corporates and the social sector ecosystem. Anil also volunteers for the cause of children with special needs. Over a span of 17 years at Intel, Anil led several initiatives for technology adoption in financial inclusion, rural development, banking and manufacturing sectors. During his tenure at Intel, Anil was a member of several National task forces with the Govt. of India. In his last role as Country Manager for Education, Anil was responsible for leading Intel’s effort in transforming education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Prior to that Anil led the Business development and Strategic Relations team for Intel across South Asia. Anil has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications from the University of Mysore and has done an Advanced Management Program at IIM Bangalore. Anil has also done a Social Entrepreneurship Outlook Programme (SEOP) from the Centre for Social Initiative and Management (CSIM).

Utham acts for clients on multi-jurisdictional outsourcing transactions, managed services agreements, software procurement, software as a service (SaaS) and cloud computing arrangements, licensing policies and strategies, product licensing agreement, services and consulting arrangements. He also leads the firm’s employment law practice and advises clients on all types of employment related matters including policies, regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits, harassment and governance issues. His unique blend of experience enables him to take a holistic view of issues and provide business enabling advice to his clients. Immediately prior to founding the firm, Utham was the global Head of Commercial Transactions with additional charge of Intellectual Property matters at Infosys Limited. At Infosys, Utham managed all of legal’s client and vendor facing activities. He also provided guidance on Indian law issues to the employment law team at Infosys legal. Having begun his career as a litigator, Utham was an entrepreneur in the online legal database space and a counsel at a corporate law firm where he advised clients on employment law and intellectual property matters in addition to his core commercial transactions practice before joining Infosys. Utham was recently awarded a Client Choice Award 2016 in the Indian General Corporate category.
