I would like to take this opportunity to address all the students of IIUM to come up with their own society changing disruptive ideas. Social Entrepreneurship can be the ultimate tool to alleviate poverty and Hult Prize is the biggest social entrepreneurship platform for the students around the world. IIUM is blessed to have students from more than 120 beautiful countries and I firmly believe through Hult Prize, we can tremendously benefit our respective nations at large."

His innovation has received recognition from the Malaysian Global Creativity Centre, Stanford University, Harvard University and Laureate International Universities.

Calvin believes in the power of education to change lives leveraged it for social good. He co-founded a social enterprise that aims to develop professional capabilities of millennials. He was the chief coordinator for Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) National Unity Youth Fellowship. In addition, he was a Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Academic Fellow on Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development in University of Connecticut, USA. His leadership and work in social development led him to be the first and only Malaysian to be awarded with Queen's Young Leaders Award. He sits on the Youth Advisory Board of Successor Generation Initiative, a youth development network with British High Commission Kuala Lumpur and also an advisor to Y-Group, a social enterprise based in Batam Island, Indonesia that aims to develop leadership capabilities of youths through entrepreneurism. Currently in the process of pursuing his MBA with Asia School of Business-MIT Sloan, he aims to enhance the balance between maintaining social mission and business acumen in social enterprises.

She is currently working as a senior livelihood assistant at UNHCR. She has worked with Rohingya refugee women on Safe from Start Project; a project to strengthen and respond to SGBV through livelihood activities, and with Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi and Yemeni refugees on a Refugee Artisan Heritage Project. She actively engages and collaborates with local social enterprises and organisations on various activities with community based organisations.
