President and CEO, Canadian Red Cross
Conrad Sauvé has been the President and CEO of the Canadian Red Cross since 2008. Under his leadership, the Canadian Red Cross has strengthened its capacity in emergency management and health programming and made significant contributions in the wake of multiple large-scale domestic and international emergencies. Mr. Sauvé has a proven track record of bringing together diverse partners in support of complex humanitarian challenges. He led the successful negotiation of a strategic partnership with the Government of Canada, and fostered innovative partnerships with health organizations, universities and other humanitarian actors.

Emmanuel Verrier-Choquette
Founding Partner, Authentique Partners
Emmanuel is a development economist by training and a strategy consultant with extensive experience in the Energy sector. While at McKinsey, he worked in Energy in Europe and the US, including with the McKinsey Global Institute to develop adoption scenarios for renewable energy sources. In his prior life, he was also a member of Booz & Company's Energy practice across the Middle East, North Africa and the US and he managed project teams on behalf of the World Bank in several countries of sub-Saharan Africa. The founder of Authentique Partners, he is also a Faculty with the McGill Executive Institute and on the Advisory Board of the McGill Not-For-Profit Consulting program. We are thrilled to welcome him yet again this year as a Hult Prize judge.

McGill Professor and Founding Director, ISID
Professor Oxhorn is the Founding Director of the Institute for the Study of International Development, as well as the Founding Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Latin America Research Commons here at McGill. He is an internationally recognized scholar of state-society relations, civil society, citizenship and democratization processes, with a focus on Latin America. He is the author of the book “Sustaining Civil Society: Economic Change, Democracy and the Social Construction of Citizenship in Latin America” which reflects his research. Philip also started a comparative project applying these perspectives to the situation of Indigenous peoples in Canada, Africa, and Latin America.

Lucia Aguilar
Foreign Affairs Adviser, Ministry of Economics, Science, and Innovation
Lucia is a Foreign Affairs Advisor with the Ministry of Economics, Science, and Innovation under the Quebec Government, with a specialization in cleantech. Within the International Partnerships department, Lucia offers strategic advisory support to Quebec researchers in their efforts to set up international partnerships and organizes value-added group activities such as hosting of international researchers and companies, economic missions, and ministerial missions. She holds a Masters in International Management at ESADE in Spain, where she was the Campus Director of their Hult Prize campus round. Lucia has also worked across Spain and Portugal, consulting in the social and education sectors.
