Assistant Professor of Professional Practice, Rutgers Business School
Dr. Mason Ameri is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice and a Director at Rutgers Business School. He specializes in managing diversity by analyzing equal access opportunities for people with disabilities, which has been profiled in more than 100 media outlets, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, The Guardian, and PBS Newshour. In addition, Dr. Ameri has had the privilege of sharing his research findings at distinguished conferences hosted by The World Bank and TED. His published pieces are available in Academy of Management Discoveries, IZA Institute of Labor Economics, ILR Review, British Journal of Industrial Relations, and others. He teaches in the areas of management skills, organizational behavior, human resource management, and negotiations. In 2019, Dr. Ameri earned four prestigious awards for his impactful research, teaching effectiveness, and patronage at Rutgers University.

Business Owner, Second Act Enterprises
Jerry Ridder is a Professional Engineer, graduate of Rutgers College of Engineering (’77) and has more than 40 years of experience in industrial design and construction covering diverse industries from pharmaceuticals to nuclear power plants. He has held a variety of leadership positions in engineering, including an emphasis on Information Technology, and management guiding teams to successful project conclusions. He has formed and assisted numerous start-up companies during his career and enjoys the pursuit of the entrepreneurial spirit. His current interest is focused on IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) where he leverages his expertise in IT and industrial systems to improve processes. Jerry is happy to be involved with the Rutgers Innovation Corp (I-Corp) as a mentor and coach where he works with aspiring teams in the quest to evaluate their ideas via customer discovery and concept evaluations.
Dr. Beth Ann Murphy

Beth Ann Murphy is a scientist with experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences biotech sectors. Presently she is the Founder of BAM Consulting LLC, whose mission is to share industry know-how with scientist-entrepreneurs to advance their ideas from the lab to commercialized products. Prior to starting BAM Consulting LLC, Dr. Murphy held positions in a start-up company that spun out of an academic lab at Rutgers University, and most notably, 25 years as a research scientist at Merck & Co. She has extensive and holistic experiences in all aspects of drug discovery across multiple disease areas and has contributed to the success of innumerable drug discovery programs.

He's an 8X VC- backed serial tech CxO ( 2 NASDAQ IPOs, multiple trade sales), professor (MIT, Rutgers, ESADE,Tech University of Denmark, Financial Times Global Professor of the Week, Professor of the Year), Innovation consultant (McKinsey), board member (Rutgers Engineering, Babson eTower, WGBH, NY Auto Museum), hackathon leader(for Hult Prize, Design For America, Capital One, IBM, MIT, Nestle, OpenIDEO, Olin College of Engineering, Babson), public speaker(TEDx), pitch competition judge (MIT $100K, $1M Open Data Science , $1M Hult Prize, Babson ePitch & RocketPitch, Mass Challenge), startup accelerator MD (StartupNext), startup mentor(Techstars, YC) & podcaster. He’s written numerous columns for Forbes, co-authored an article on innovation in HBR & has been widely quoted in major business publications including the WSJ, Fast Company, Inc, & the FT. His popular weekly podcast on Disruptive Innovation streams on Apple, Spotify, GooglePlay, SoundCloud and other major platforms.
