Mariko is Co-Founder and Director of Social Innovation Japan, Co-Founder of Japan's first free water refill app, MyMizu, and an independent consultant. A former journalist, she has planned, managed and delivered international, multi-stakeholder projects for government, corporations and social ventures, including as Programme Manager for a UK government campaign to facilitate innovation partnerships between the UK and Japan and as Overseas Marketing Lead for Earth Company, a social enterprise. She now leverages her experience to build greater cross-sector engagement with social and environmental issues via Social Innovation Japan, support businesses and social ventures in launching new initiatives, and is also the Tokyo lead for the Circular Economy Club.

Kaneko participated as a strategic consultant in a business consulting firm and has engaged in consulting projects for clients such as mobile communication carriers, general trading companies, manufacturers and others. The theme includes formulating medium-term management plan, support for entering emerging countries, business due diligence and finance advisory of M & A. After co-founding MIRAI SOUZOU, lead the company in raising a Venture Capital (VC) fund of 3.3 billion yen as partnership VC of Tokyo Institute of Technology. Completed Masters Degree in Tokyo Tech.

Dimitri Akimaru is a half Greek half Japanese entrepreneur who founded Morphus AI and Tokyo Tech Startups Group, the largest English speaking Startup meetup in Japan. He started his first biometrics startup during his freshman year in college and graduated from the school of engineering at the University of Michigan with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Subsequently, he moved to San Francisco to grow his startup and joined several accelerator programs both in the Midwest and in Silicon Valley. Dimitri returned to Japan with goal to take his lessons learned and help foster the startup ecosystem in Japan, hosting monthly pitch events and consulting tech startups on growth and fundraising.
